This is a reminder for Groton City residents that there will be a power outage at 8 a.m. today. The outage should last for about 15 minutes, but could last up to an hour. Turn off any electronic devices prior to 8 a.m. just as a precaution.

The recycling trailer is in Groton. It is located at the city shop at 10 East Railroad Ave. Don't forget, there is also a dumpster at the city shop for aluminum cans with the proceeds going to the pool.
