Gale Watches and Warnings in Effect Monday into Tuesday for Portions of the Upper Great Lakes

• Strong winds starting on Monday and persisting into Tuesday will lead to significant waves across portions of the Upper Great Lakes. Waves of 12 to 18 feet with occasional waves up to 24 feet will be common, especially on Lake Michigan, creating hazardous weather conditions. It is highly recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.
