The blizzard cancelled the Groton Show Choir Tour of Homes for 2012. I then came up with the idea of doing a video of the homes. I talked with Melodee Lane about the idea and she thought it was great.  We were able to get in contact of four of the five homeowners on the Tour of Homes. This was the first time I had done this type of a project and it had its share of challenges. I thought it turned out pretty good. There were a few glitches along the way, but we hope you enjoy the video tour of the homes. The quality of the on-line video is a condensed version due to the fact that it is streamed on-line. The annual Dunker family Christmas party was held at the Groton Community Center on December 26^th. The hosts for the evening were the Ray and Wally Dunker families. Dorene Nelson was in charge of the program with JoAnn Russ, playing the piano. Following a potluck supper, each family introduced those who were present and provided news and updates about their family. In between each introduction the group enjoyed singing various Christmas hymns and carols. Those present included Dorene and Gordon Nelson, JoAnn Russ and Ian and Kyle, Carmel and Gary Willett and Nicholas, Corey and Brenda Nelson and Hope and Isaac, and Christopher Willett and Cassie Kanzenbach (Hazel Sager family); Roberta and David Olson, Carol and Mick Osterman, and Jason Osterman (Inez Knickrehm family); Ralph and Jan Borge, and Kendra and Kaila Kuehn (Evelyn Clausen family); Carol Dunker,  Darlyne Johnson, Larry and Barb Dunker, Linda and Buzz Anderson, and Laef Johnson (Ray Dunker family);  Nancy Larsen, Steve and Betty Dunker, Susan and Terry Ellingson, and Doug and Denise Dunker (Dale Dunker family), and Max Williams (Millie Williams family).
