Groton edges past Vermillion to remain undefeated
Groton won game number two at the State B American Legion Baseball Tournament with a 7-6 win over Vermillion in a game that had several lead changes. • Live updates from today's games will be available by clicking on the link on the home page at www.397news.com. He stole second, advance to third on a grounder by Matt Thorson and scored on a Dalton Locke single. Groton left the bases loaded. • A double play helped Groton get two players out and the third was a force out as the game remained tied.
