Severe weather and flash flooding possible along the East Coast and across portions of the Rockies and adjacent Plains on Tuesday.
Severe weather is possible on Tuesday across the Mid-Atlantic and across parts of the central Rockies and Front Range. Large hail and damaging winds will be the primary threats but tornadoes cannot be ruled out. In addition, heavy rainfall is possible from the Mid-Atlantic into New England as well as the southern and central Rockies and adjacent Plains leading to flash flood potential.
