• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Most major crops in South Dakota are in decent shape as the growing season progresses.
• The Agriculture Department says in its weekly crop report that the state's winter wheat crop is rated 72 percent good to excellent, though it is maturing at a rate well behind the average pace.
• Seventy-six percent of South Dakota's soybean crop is in good to excellent shape, and 80 percent of the corn is in those categories.
• Pasture and range conditions in the state are rated 84 percent good to excellent.
