Arthur now a Tropical Storm and rapidly losing tropical characteristics
Tropical Storm Arthur continues to move northeast towards Nova Scotia, Canada. High winds can still be expected across portions of eastern Maine. High Surf and dangerous rip currents will be likely across much of the Eastern Seaboard through the remainder of the holiday weekend behind Arthur. Extreme caution should be used on area beaches and follow all local officials and lifeguards.
