A fairly active 24 hours is expected, with some potential for severe storms, as well as heavy rain. The main severe threat will be gusty winds and hail. Heavy rain may also materialize due to strong/slow moving storms later today and tonight. A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for parts of western and central South Dakota. For Saturday the entire axis of severe weather and heavy rain will shift east.
