Highway 12 Construction

• The South Dakota Department of Transportation has begun asphalt concrete paving work on Highway 12 east of Ipswich to Mina.
• The asphalt paving operation has reduced traffic to one lane with a 16-foot width restriction. Traffic is being controlled with flaggers and a pilot car at both ends of the work zone.
• This work is part of a nearly $5.9 million contract with Duininck, Inc. to do repair work on Highway 12 in the Aberdeen region.
• The expected completion date for the asphalt paving is Aug. 1, with an overall completion date of Oct. 10.
