Today's average is two cents more than one week ago, three cents more than one month ago, and motorists are paying 11 cents more per gallon than a year ago.
• South Dakota's average retail price for self-serve regular gasoline has risen five cents per gallon so far during June, AAA reports. "We've had a couple of times when the day-to-day price declined in South Dakota," said Marilyn Buskohl, spokeswoman for AAA South Dakota. "But the overall trend has been upward."
