Groton Lions Club members, (all in yellow Lions jackets), are L-R - Iva McCullough, president, Lee Schinkel, Mayor Scott Hanlon, Nancy Larsen, and Topper Tastad.  In front is Arlis Doeden, director of the Groton transit.  The transit recently held its annual fundrasier.  This was an outdoor cook-out, served by members of the transit board, and other volunteers.  The purpose was to raise for the Groton bus transit, serving all ages of the Groton community.  Lee Schinkel is presenting a check for $200 to Arlis Doeden, from the Groton Lions Club.
