• I'm thinking that I need to invest in an old fashioned, full height telephone booth. So when I need a clothing change, I can just dash inside, instantly be changed, and come out a different person.
• Sunday felt like one of those days. I get up with shorts and tank top and dash around getting the paper route down. And yes, it was  dash as I overslept and didn't wake up until I heard my wife's alarm clock at 6 o'clock.
• Afterwards it rush home, take a quick shower, get

dressed for church, finish the bulletin and then we're off to Pierpont. We get to church and we whip up some pancakes and bacon and put them in the warmer to be served after church.
• Once we are done with church, we go home where I change back into my shorts and tank top and work out in the yard. I make a quick trip into Aberdeen to get a couple of things. Now it's nearing 3 p.m. and I'm suppose to be at the Golden Living Center for church service there. Back into my church clothes and I'm off to church again. After I'm done there, it's back home into my shorts and tank top for the rest of the day. The only thing that would have made it even more interesting was if I had worked Sunday night at the Dairy Queen. I did that Saturday night though. It makes me exhausted just thinking of the whole Sunday routine. I thought Sunday was suppose to be a day of rest!

• Monday was my long awaited appointment for my annual physical. I had the date set up since my physical last year. Of course, you're suppose to fast the day before. I usually go in at 1:30 for my lab and see the doctor at 2:00 for the rest.  They called me at 11:00 Monday morning, apologized for not calling me sooner and said the doctor was not in for the day. They rescheduled it for Thursday, so I get another day of fasting. Maybe they're trying to tell me in a nice way that I need to lose a few pounds with another day of fasting. I do have to chuckle, though. They always ask if fasting until 1:30 was okay. I don't mind doing it once a year. Now I get to do it twice this year! But it's a piece of cake. No, it's actually lots of water until 1:30.
