Kershaw throws no-hitter, nearly perfect game, and Ks 15 in Dodgers' 8-0 rout of Rockies

• LOS ANGELES (AP) -- A pair of Cy Young Awards, three straight major league ERA titles, a 20-win season -- and now a no-hitter.
• There isn't much more for Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw to accomplish besides winning a World Series ring.
• Kershaw dominated the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday night, striking out a career-high 15 and allowing his only baserunner on a throwing error by shortstop Hanley Ramirez in Los Angeles' 8-0 victory.
• Kershaw's gem gave the Dodgers both no-hitters in the majors this season. Josh Beckett tossed one May 25 in Philadelphia.
• "I am so amazed," Kershaw said. "Beckett told me he was going to teach me how to do that, so I have Josh to thank."

Suarez set to be on target for Uruguay, and target of England's defenders in World Cup Group D

• NATAL, Brazil (AP) -- The must-win World Cup encounter between England and Uruguay could boil down to which team best targets Luis Suarez. Both former champions realize a loss Thursday could signal the end of their World Cup campaign after just two matches.
• Uruguay, semifinalists in 2010, will be desperate to have Liverpool striker Suarez back after he missed the opening loss to Costa Rica with a knee problem. He has declared himself fit, and if he starts Uruguay will be trying to feed him as many balls as possible.
• England, all too familiar with Suarez's goal-scoring abilities from the Premier League, will be aiming to shut him down.
• The other matches on Day Eight at the World Cup are in Group C, with Colombia taking on Ivory Coast -- both winners in their opening group matches -- and Japan against Greece in a struggle to stay alive.
• Things to watch for Thursday:
