• Board members took no action on any of the Freeman superintendent's requests.
• As part of its consent calendar, the board did approve five cooperative agreements. They include:
• …a request for a cooperative agreement between Parkston High School and Ethan High School in the sport of gymnastics effective in the 2014-15 school year.
• …a request for a cooperative agreement between Marion High School and Canistota High School in the sports of boys' and girls' basketball, volleyball, boys' and girls' track, boys' and girls' golf, boys' and girls' cross-country and sideline cheer effective in the 2015-16 school year.
• …a request for a cooperative agreement between Arlington High School and Lake Preston High School in the sport of competitive cheer effective in the 2014-15 school year.
• …a request for a cooperative agreement between Winner High School and Colome High School in the sports of girls' golf, boys' golf, cross-country and wrestling effective in the 2014-15 school year.
• …a request for a cooperative agreement between Mitchell Christian High School, Sanborn Central High School and Mount Vernon High School in the sport of boys' soccer effective in the 2014-15 school year.

• PIERRE, S.D. - Fans of high school activities are using a variety of means for tracking their favorite events. That was part of the message when Larry Rohrer of South Dakota Public Broadcasting met Wednesday with the South Dakota High School Activities Association board of directors.
• SDPB provides television coverage of sports and music events including soccer, football, cheer and dance, volleyball, gymnastics, wrestling, boys' and girls' basketball, track and All-State chorus, orchestra, band and jazz band. Gymnastics, All-State Band and All-State Jazz Band are taped for broadcast while the rest are broadcast live.
