Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop later this afternoon along a cold front. Some of these thunderstorms could become strong to severe with large hail and damaging winds possible. The eastern Dakotas and western Minnesota will have the best potential of seeing severe storms. Thunderstorms will push east of the region later tonight with dry, but cool conditions expected on Thursday.
