"Larson led most of the way, but Schroeder caught him at the end." Larson ran a 22.92 in the finals for second as Schroeder edged out Larson by a tenth of a second.
• Luca Kother placed sixth in the 300m hurdles. He finished seventh on Friday in the prelims with a time of 42.61. He improved on that and moved up to sixth place in the finals with a time of 42.24.
