Flash flooding and severe weather expected from the Great Lakes to the Plains; Excessive heat and elevated fire danger in the Southwest

In addition, heavy rainfall will contribute to flash flooding potential from the Plains into the Upper Great Lakes region. Across the Southwest, expect very hot temperatures to contribute to ongoing fire danger conditions.
