The unsettled weather pattern will continue through the weekend, with additional showers and thunderstorms today. The heavy rain threat this afternoon and evening will be focused over eastern SD into west central MN along a stalled out frontal boundary. A few thunderstorms may also produce hail and gusty winds. A better severe weather setup will occur on Sunday.
