• "As video rates increase, we have to pass on these expenses to the customer." Groft added.
• Groft stressed that as a cooperative, JVT is a strong supporter of the community.
• "We paid back 30 percent in capital gains this last year," Groft said. "We also paid over $350,000 in gross tax receipt to area schools, and the money spent on communications by the company stays in the communities."
• JVT was able to increase the amount of the Bob Peterson Memorial Scholarships this year to $2000. Receiving scholarships were Mariah Mikkonen of Frederick High School, daughter of Lonny and Krysti Mikkonen; Reilly Ell of Groton High School, son of Tom and Kami Lipp; and  Nicholas Young of Clark High School, son of Jeff and Ruth Young, Conde
• The meeting was adjourned with several door prizes being handed out. The big winners received credit to their JVT bills. They were: ($100 winners) Mike Weber and Ardis LaBrie; ($250 winners) Arnold Bahr and Marlyce Flint, and the $500 winner was Orrin Freeman.
