The Groton DI teams started loading up for the trip home at 7:30am and left Knoxville at 8:30am.  Our first stop was in Gordonsville, TN for fuel and food.  The next stop in the afternoon was in Vienna, IL once again for fuel, a stretch and a quick Dairy Queen trip.  The whole crew surprised the birthday girl, Joni Groeblinghoff, by singing happy birthday to her in DQ and then again later in the evening at "Mattingly's" in Florissant, MO.  Our days of traveling will come to an end as we will be back in Groton on Monday evening.
