A nearly stationary front will once again be the focus for storms later this afternoon and evening, mainly for areas between the Missouri River valley and the James River valley. Although the storms are not expected to become severe, locally heavy rainfall is possible. This frontal boundary will only move slightly by Memorial Day, leading to another afternoon and evening of scattered storms. By mid-week, an upper level ridge will begin to bring drier conditions to the region.
