DI Global Finals Update

Day #2 in Knoxville proved to be a very eventful day for both Groton DI teams.  Pin trading was a big adventure as some of the favorite pins to search for and collect were: Frozen, Pokémon, and Divergent.  Our South Dakota Wizard of Oz pins and the dream catchers seem to be going over well too.  The "Out of the Boxers" team gave another great performance of their solution to the Going to Extremes challenge!  The "5 Confused People" team spent the morning finishing their costumes for the Duct Tape Costume Ball.  A new Guinness Book of World Records event was set at 752 people for the most people dressed in duct tape.  Actually there were many more people at this event than were counted!  The "Boxers" dressed as Santa, Mrs. Santa and the elves and "5 Confused People" dressed as Muffins, Bakers and a Delivery Driver.  We had an absolute awesome time and both teams were able to get their picture taken with Destination Imagination's CEO, Chuck Cadle!  We were all amazed at some of the great costumes we saw: anything from Where's Waldo to garden gnomes to the cast of Shrek!  There were great memories made in Knoxville today!!
