The work has begun for the new playground equipment that is going to be installed at the Groton City Park. Joe Foertsch, on the left, is donating his time in memory of their baby to put up the playground equipment. He has also solicited a lot of other volunteer help and even has Consolidated of Aberdeen donating the concrete for the footings. Ward Gilchrist, on the digger truck, is drilling holes for the footings.
