On Monday, May 19 two Groton Area Destination Imagination teams left at 7:00am for Knoxville.  The first day of travel was a long day for "Out of the Boxers" and "5 Confused People" as we stopped in Fairview Heights, Illinois for the night.  On Tuesday, we arrived in Knoxville and got settled into our apartments right on the campus of the University of Tennessee.  So far our first day involved pin trading, checking out the souvenir sales, and opening ceremony.  The "Boxers" went swimming and "5 Confused People" spent several hours constructing costumes for the Duct Tape Costume Ball Thursday night.  On Thursday afternoon, the "Boxers" will present their solution to their challenge "Going to Extremes".
