Chechen immigrant Ibragim Todashev (IH'-bruh-heem TOH'-duh-shehv), a friend of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev (TAM'-ehr-luhn tsahr-NEYE'-ehv), was fatally shot by an FBI agent in Orlando, Florida. In a brutal daylight attack in London, two men with butcher knives hacked to death an off-duty British soldier, Lee Rigby, before police wounded them in a shootout. (The attackers were later sentenced to life in prison.)
