Nancy Cutler was presented a plaque for her 37 years as a Groton educator. Not being able to attend was Jana Duncan, who has served the district for 24 years.
Joy Voss was recognized for her three years on the school board.
Kasey Kurtz, senior class president, presented the left-over funds from the senior class to Dorene Nelson, president of the Board of Education. The funds were designated for a soccer banner which will list the state champions on it.
Principal Anna Schwan announced the special senior awards.
The concert choir, under the direction of Lea Kooiman, sang, "Home."
