An area of low pressure and surface cold front moving across the region will bring showers and thunderstorms to the eastern Dakotas and western Minnesota this morning. A period of dry conditions will be possible later this morning before additional thunderstorms develop along I-29 this afternoon. A few storms this afternoon could become strong and produce hail and gusty winds.
