A large shipment arrived recently at the Groton Swimming Pool. Two pallets of 100 lb. Bags of sand along with buckets of chlorine and Magic Acid were unloaded with the skidsteer and then moved inside by hand. The sand was replacement sand for the amount taken out of the filter. Enough chemicals were ordered to hopefully last the season, which is scheduled to begin Memorial weekend and go through Labor Day weekend.
