• Bosworth said in a press conference in Sioux Falls Friday that Jackley is investigating her for political reasons and called it "an insult to the good people of South Dakota."
• Jackley said in a statement that he does not "have the luxury of walking away from or taking a pass on tough issues."
• Secretary of State Jason Gant asked Jackley to investigate Bosworth for allegedly being out of the country during a time when her petitions say she was gathering signatures around the state.
• Independent U.S. Senate candidate Clayton Walker is also being investigated, but the reason is unclear.

Rapid City police investigating suspicious death

• RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) -- Rapid City police are investigating what they are calling a suspicious death.
• Authorities say the body of a Rapid City man was found in the common area of an apartment complex early Friday. The man's name has not been released.
• Police are waiting for results from an autopsy before releasing the cause of death. No further information was available.

South Dakota boy might get $10K he found in hotel

• KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- A South Dakota boy who found $10,000 in a Kansas City hotel might be able to keep the money after all.
• Tyler Schaefer found the stacked bills in his hotel room last year. His father, Cody Schaefer, of Rapid City, South Dakota, told his then-10-year-old son they couldn't keep the cash because they didn't know whose it was.
• The Kansas City Police Department has been storing the money, according to state law. If the owner doesn't come forward in four years, the money will go to the state treasurer's office to be kept in a trust.
• But Missouri State Treasurer Clint Zweifel wrote Police Chief Darryl Forte on Thursday asking police to turn the money over to his office so Zweifel's office can start proceedings to allow the boy and his father to claim the money. Zweifel cited a Missouri law that allows unclaimed property to be turned over to his office before the four-year period lapses.
• "I am certain you and I agree that this young boy and his father did the right thing by turning the money over to the Kansas City Police Department," Zweifel said in the letter. Zweifel said once he received the money he would work "to ensure the
