• Wyatt Sombke and Joellen Gonsoir, seniors at Groton Area High School, have been selected to receive the 2014 American Legion Citizenship Award.  The basis for the award is honor, courage, scholarship, leadership, and service. Wyatt and Joellen will receive medals from the Groton American Legion Post #39.
• Wyatt and Joellen both plan to attend the University of Minnesota in Crookston next fall.  Wyatt is the son of Clint and Kiersten Sombke of Conde.  Joellen is the daughter of Tim and Kristen Gonsoir of Groton.
