Heavy rain and flash flooding expected for the western Gulf Coast and Ark-La-Tex region.

• Heavy rain is expected for parts of the western Gulf Coast and the Ark-La-Tex region. Some parts of Texas could experience 4 to 5 inches of rain between Monday evening and Tuesday evening. The heavy precipitation raises the threat of flash flooding for these regions.
