Coach Brian Schuring summed up the track meet with these words: "The Groton Area Tigers had another really good day in Track and Field!  Our Boys scored 93pts for second place and our Girls scored 92.5pts for fourth place (less than 5pts from second place)....what a tremendous effort on both sides!  Landon Larson won the 200M and 400M (broke school record held by Sam Goehring-1981....51.20) and our boys and girls 800M Relay teams placed 1st respectively!  Anytime you can be a NEC Conference Champion in your event that is an awesome accomplishment!  All our tracksters competed well today and should be proud of their showing!"
