• The girls golf team won its first ever Northeast Conference Title Friday by beating Aberdeen Roncalli by 21 strokes. Groton took four of the top five spots and added an eighth and 16th place finish to secure the win. Maddie Colestock placed second with a 99, Rachel Blackmun was third with a 105, Kasey Waage was fourth with a 107, Nikki Koehler was eighth with a 109 and Katie Koehler was 16th with a 123.
• Groton's score was 422 to Roncalli's 443.
•  This is the first time that a Groton golf team, boys or girls, has ever won the Northeast Conference title.
