Cutler, Weber chosen for Hugh O'Brian Youth Foundation Leadership Seminar

Lily Cutler and Allison Weber were selected as the Groton High School ambassadors for the Hugh O'Brian Youth Foundation Leadership Seminar (HOBY).  The purpose of HOBY is to motivate and develop future leaders.  Students are prepared for positions in their school and helped to expand the talents that will serve them into the future by working with today's leaders.
Each spring HOBY Leadership Seminars are conducted in each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Canada, and Mexico.  One young man and one young woman are selected from each of these state seminars to attend

the HOBY World Leadership Congress, which is held in the summer of 2014.
Lily's and Allison's selection was based on leadership ability, sensitivity and concern for others, and the desire to learn and share knowledge and experience.  The Groton Kiwanis Club and Groton Chamber of Commerce each year sponsor sophomores as HOBY Ambassadors.
Lily is the daughter of James and Lisa Cutler of Claremont.  Allison is the daughter of Mike and Lorrie Weber of Groton.
