Sioux Falls holding Big Sioux greenway clean-up

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Sioux Falls' public works and parks and recreation departments are holding a community-wide clean-up Saturday of the Big Sioux River greenway.
• Volunteers are encouraged to help pick up litter along the bike trail throughout Sioux Falls from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
• Those interested in participating can show up at several parks along the trail. Locations include Legacy Park, Dunham Park, Falls Park, Spencer Park, Rotary Park, Sertoma Park, Fawick Park and Cherry Rock Park.
• Coordinators will be at park shelters to hand out trash bags and provide direction. Volunteers are encouraged to wear gloves and appropriate clothing.

55 new art pieces added for SculptureWalk

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Downtown Sioux Falls has 55 new pieces of sculpture.
• About 40 volunteers helped install the outdoor art on Saturday as part of the city's 11th year of SculptureWalk.
• The original outdoor sculptures are displayed year-round along Phillips Avenue, Main Avenue and 8th Street. The sculptures are owned by sculptors from around the world and loaned to the exhibit.
• SculptureWalk is supported by donations and sponsorships from area residents and businesses. Each year, visitors vote for The People's Choice sculpture, and that sculpture is purchased by the City of Sioux Falls.
• This weekend's activities feature the SculptureWalk Expo, a two-day indoor sculpture show during the installation.

Governor's mansion resuming public tours

• PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- Free weekly tours at the South Dakota governor's mansion return next month.
• First Lady Linda Daugaard says she and Gov. Dennis Daugaard are happy to again open the home on the shore of Capitol Lake to the public. It marks the fourth season of the tours.
