Governor's mansion resuming public tours

• PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- Free weekly tours at the South Dakota governor's mansion return next month.
• First Lady Linda Daugaard says she and Gov. Dennis Daugaard are happy to again open the home on the shore of Capitol Lake to the public. It marks the fourth season of the tours.
• Weekly public tours will be conducted each Wednesday in June, July and August beginning June 4. The 30-minute tours begin at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Central and are conducted by volunteers, including the First Lady.
• Tour groups will consist of up to 30 people
• Free tickets must be obtained in advance from the Pierre Chamber of Commerce.

SDSU golf coach resigns after 11 seasons

• BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) -- Jared Baszler says he's resigning as the golf coach for South Dakota State University after 11 seasons with the school.
• The men's and women's coach said Saturday he plans to pursue other opportunities in private business.
• Baszler coached the Jackrabbit men and women to 11 team tournament titles and nine student-athletes to individual tournament titles.
• His resignation is immediate and SDSU Athletic Director Justin Sell says a national search to find Baszler's replacement will begin right away.

Game commission concerned with TV host violations

• RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) -- The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Commission will send a letter to Beretta USA about game violations committed by the host of an outdoors television show the firearms company sponsors.
• The commissioners approved the letter at their Friday meeting and expressed concern about the ethical and legal violations committed in South Dakota by Scott Robertson and his wife. Robertson hosts Beretta's "Wild and Raw." The commissioners say their concerns are with illegal deer taken by the couple in 2008 and 2009.
