A mid-level wave of energy tracking across the region this morning will bring a few scattered rain showers to eastern portions of the area. There may even be a little snow or sleet mixed in. Otherwise, expect cool temperatures today under mostly cloudy skies. Highs will range from the low to mid 50s for most areas, with some warmer readings in the lower 60s across southern South Dakota.
