• Livestock Judging team placed 4^th, (gold) with Maryn Howard placing second, Hailey Hanson placing 25^th (silver) and Tuner Webb finishing in the bronze.
• The Horse judging team finished second with all four team members placing. Tyra Leonhardt placed 10^th, (gold), Kaitlyn Ringgenberg was 13^th (gold), Kate Helmer was 22^nd (silver) and Katie Miller placed silver.
• Year-end awards were given at the banquet. Freshman Greenhand Award winners were: Trevor Pray, Isaiah Cutler, Hannah Webb Turner Webb, Braiden Craig, Kate Helmer, Trey Wright, Mark Leonhardt, Patrick Gengerke and Shane Simon. The Greenhand award is earned by freshman FFA members with SAE Projects.
• Chapter Awards are given to second year members of the FFA based on their SAE projects. Winners were: Brady Graf, Brody Sombke, Carly Wheeting, Parker Kroll, Kaitlyn Ringgenberg, Wyatt Larson, Katie Miller, John Jensen, Hailey Hanson, Kyle Miller, Hayden Anderson, Landon Johnson, and Luke Sternhagen.
• FFA State Award winners are to third year members. Winners were: Riley Helmer, Tyra Leonhardt, Tyler Wagner, Nathan Wright, Joellen Gonsoir, Braden Miller and Wyatt Sombke.
• FFA Star Awards are given to members who have excelled at their SAE Projects. SAE projects are Supervised Agricultural Experiences where the student works on their own with supervision from the advisor.
• The Star Greenhand is earned by freshman and went to Kate Helmer and Patrick Gengerke. The Star Placement Award is earned by a student who works for someone else, either paid or volunteer. This year's winner was Sheldon Herr. The Star Farmer Award is given to a student who has ownership of their project, (livestock, grain land etc.). Maryn Howard was the recipient of this year's award.
• The new 2014-2015 Groton FFA Officer Team is Sheldon Herr, Student Advisor;  Hailey Hanson, Secretary;  Brody Sombke, Vice President; Maryn Howard, President;  Carly Wheeting, Reporter; Katie Miller, Sentinel; Kyle Miller, Historian; Kaitlyn Ringgenberg, Parliamentarian; and Hayden Anderson, Treasurer.
• Seven seniors were the recipients of the Groton FFA Alumni Scholarships. They are: Tyler Wagner, Nathan Wright, Riley Helmer, Parker Kroll, Wyatt Sombke, Tyra Leonhardt and Joellen Gonsoir. Wagner was also the recipient of the Charles Strom Memorial Scholarship and the Beck Memorial Scholarship.
