Here comes Camille Sippel. She chose a 12-block quilt with a repeating pattern inspired by a picture she saw.  Camille knew what she wanted to accomplish with this quilt, so she drew out the pattern and calculated its measurements herself. The outside colors match with the tie-dye pattern and are complimented by pink cheetah print fabric. It took her a very long time because she had to seam rip it about a billion times. The soft minky back will keep her warm next year as she attends the University of Lincoln Nebraska. Amazing job, Camille!

Next in this group is Tyra Leonhardt. She is showing off her Lonestar pattern quilt that she made in FACS 4. This was her first time quilting, but not her first time sewing, so she wanted to do something challenging. Tyra had many break downs throughout the process. She ended up having to change the pattern slightly, but it turned out great in the end. She plans to take her quilt with her to Brookings where she will attend SDSU in the fall. Great job, Tyra!
