Scattered showers and thunderstorms, as well as areas of fog, will continue through the morning. Additional and more widespread showers with embedded thunderstorms are then expected later in the day and tonight. Temperatures will cool rapidly overnight, likely changing rain over to snow. For most areas, any snowfall that does accumulate is expected to remain under one inch. However parts of northwest and north central South Dakota could see higher accumulations. East to northeast winds will remain gusty.
