A line of showers and thunderstorms will work its way across northern SD and west central MN this morning and early afternoon. There will be a break in the action before another round of showers and thunderstorms moves in later this afternoon and tonight. The main threats will be periods of heavy rain and small hail. Except across south central and southeast SD, where isolated stronger storms are possible and hail could become large. The slow moving low pressure system will bring periods of rain to the region through at least mid-week.
