• The Storm Prediction Center is forecasting severe weather for Wednesday across much of the central and southern Plains. Primary threats will be large hail and damaging winds. There could also be small tornado risk farther south along the dryline.
• Today: Windy. Cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 60s. Southeast winds 25 to 30 mph decreasing to 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Gusts up to 45 mph.
• Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain showers and thunderstorms in the

evening...then partly cloudy with a slight chance of rain showers after midnight. Lows in the upper 30s. East winds 5 to 15 mph with gusts to around 30 mph shifting to the west 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation 50 percent.
