Increased fire danger will continue across portions of the Southwest through the weekend.
• Warm, windy and dry conditions will continue to keep Fire Weather concerns elevated through at least Saturday across portions of the Southwest. An area of Elevated to Critical risk has been highlighted by the Storm Prediction Center for Saturday. Any fires that are ignited will have the potential for rapid growth and spread. Outdoor burning is not recommended in these areas for the next few days.
