• One police officer and three public works employees will be required to attend the defensive driving course on April 23 in Aberdeen.
• A brown bag permit was approved for Brown Bag Permit for the firemen on April 26 was approved. It was approved even though it will not meet publication requirements.
• The canvassing of the votes will be done at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9.
• Pool advertising signs have been cut in half. Instead of $1,000 per year, the council decided to lower the cost to $500 per year and to offer those who prepaid an extension on their contract. The signs at the baseball complex are $200 per year with a fourth year free after paying for three years.
• The Groton Lions Club requested funds for the Easter Egg Hunt. The council
