Lingering flood concerns in parts of the South and New England
• Recent heavy rainfall in the South has brought rises to numerous rivers and creeks. The rain will taper off by Tuesday, but it will take some time for water levels to recede. Meanwhile, rainfall combined with snowmelt in the Northeast will raise river levels there through midweek.
