SD man gets prison time in witness tampering case

• PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- A southern South Dakota man accused of pressuring a relative to withhold information from authorities investigating a sexual assault case has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
• The U.S. Attorney General in South Dakota on Wednesday announced the sentence against 21-year-old Ian James Burning Breast. He had pleaded guilty to a witness tampering charge.
• The Parmelee man was also ordered to five years of supervised release.

• Authorities say Burning Breast was paroled on November 2012 for another crime, moved to the Rosebud Indian Reservation and didn't comply with the terms of his release.
