• This morning, I joined the House in passing additional support for Ukraine. The bill, H.R.4278, affirms America's support for Ukraine and shows that we're ready to impose all economic and diplomatic options necessary to isolate Russia. More specifically, the legislation supports the freezing of assets, visa restrictions and strong economic sanctions for those who threaten Ukraine's independence.
• It is important that the U.S. take a strong, forward-looking stance in the region to prevent future abuses of power. It is an issue of national security for the U.S.
