• Those publishers settled claims against them for a total payment of $166 million. Attorney General Marty Jackley says more than $390,000 of that will be distributed to South Dakota residents.
• Apple did not settle. And during a trial last year it was found to have played a central role in a conspiracy to fix prices. A second trial to determine how much it owes will be held in the future.

School SUV that crashed in CO was from northern SD

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Authorities say a sport utility vehicle that crashed in Colorado and injured five students and two adults belongs to the McLaughlin School District in South Dakota.
• McLaughlin is on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation that straddles the South Dakota-North Dakota border. School Superintendent Patricia Stone declined comment to The Associated Press, citing privacy. Tribal Chairman Dave Archambault (AHR'-sham-boh) II didn't immediately return calls.
• The Colorado State Patrol says the students and adults were in an SUV that hit ice, drifted into the median on Interstate 25 and rolled at least twice Monday about 16 miles south of the Wyoming border. They were taken to hospitals in Fort Collins and Loveland with what authorities said were serious injuries.
• Officials say the children appeared to be the age of middle school students.

Leading SD prosecutor sentenced for driving drunk

• REDFIELD, S.D. (AP) -- The president of the South Dakota State's Attorneys Association has lost his driver's license for 30 days after pleading guilty to driving drunk.
• Spink County State's Attorney Victor Fischbach also has been ordered to pay $629 in fines and fees.
• A state Highway Patrol trooper arrested Fischbach on March 9. The 43-year-old prosecutor pleaded guilty last Thursday.

Safety discussed in wake of Sioux Falls homicide

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Residents want to boost safety in their Sioux Falls neighborhood after a woman was killed there.
