Suspect in SD attempted homicide to be extradited

• BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) -- Law enforcement authorities in North Dakota will extradite a man to South Dakota where he is wanted in connection with an attempted homicide.
• Stark County Judge Dann Greenwood on Monday authorized the extradition.
• The South Dakota Attorney General's office says the 38-year-old Sisseton man was arrested Sunday afternoon in the southwestern North Dakota town of Beach.
• South Dakota authorities are expected to pick up the man from a jail in Dickinson within 10 days.
• The attorney general's office did not immediately release details about the attempted homicide in Sisseton on March 19.
