• The Groton Lions Club held their monthly potluck supper meeting at Topper Tastad's Main Street office, last Thursday evening.  Michelle Mullenberg was welcomed as a new member.
• Items of business were the kids Easter egg hunt at the city park, set for April 12, and an alternate date set for April 19. ; spring city wide rummage sale, May 3, reports on the successful wrestling tourney, and the first ever eye screening clinic at the elementary school.  Approximate 75-80 adults and children were screened.  Nancy Larsen, Dave Pigors, Larry Wheeting, and Lee Schinkel worked the eye clinic.
